Updates
on my site
March 2004
Here follows the list of the new or
updated stuff on my site. I try to keep this page up to date and write
here every update on My Suzuki Pages that might interest you.
March 3:I have had much less spare time lately than I used to have during
2002 and 2003, that's why I haven't updated my site as frequent as in
the past. Please keep on sending me material so I can fill out the gaps
(but don't be upset if it takes a month or two before it actually ends
up on the site, I have been busy with earning my living. This is just
a hobby that cost me money, not the opposite). New page: RM100

March 26:There
will be no updates on my site for a few days. Unfortunately I have to
move my site to another host. The traffic to my site has grown so enormously
that the host I use for the moment wants to charge me big money for the
heavy traffic. I found another web hotel that allows heavier traffic for
lower cost. So I decided to move. Unfortunately Im still stuck with
a slow dial modem connection to the Internet so moving all the files to
another server will take me several days. During that time I wont
be updating this site. Note that the move wont affect you, the domain
name remains the same and you will probably (hopefully) notice any difference.
See you!
March 30:I
have done moving now. By the time you found to this page the domain name
must be pointing to the new server and everything should work ok. As I
had to upload all the files to the new server anyway, I went through all
the links sitewide and found a few photo links that were not working before.
I also removed my e-mail address from the pages and put it on a single
page. It is there in a picture form only no spammer's robots should find
it. I also changed the e-mail address. This I made because of the massive
attacks from spammers, I could not live anymore with the enormous amount
of junk mail. Please change the e-mail address to your address books if
you have kept contact with me earlier.
You can find the page with the e-mail address here.
I also wrote something about the most frequently asked questions I receive
and some guidelines for people sending me scans and bike pictures.
New visitors'
Suzuki pictures ('80
GS850GL, '84 GS750ES, '78 GT125).
March 31: New visitors'
Suzuki pictures ('78
GS750E, '74 RL250, '72 AC50). The name server is changed now and the URL
www.suzukicycles.org is pointing to this server now (it was changed just
a few minutes ago, about quarter to four in the morning, Swedish time).
Welcome!
I do not longer brag here about the amount of visitors I get to my site.
Instead there's a counter at the bottom of every page with text contest
(at least it should be there, for some reason it wasn't there the last
time I looked) telling the actual page views. I stopped following it myself
after the counter was close to three million page views.
