1986 Suzuki GSX 400 E

Owner: Matt Trayling,
Blenheim New Zealand

Comments: I have recently
moved from England to New Zealand where I live in a small town
called Blenheim.

I have only had the bike a few weeks and it is fantastic!

It has the grunt of a big bike but the feel and handling of a
lightweight. Really goes well.

Excellent web site by the way.

1987 Suzuki RG 250 Gamma

Owner: Glenn Hartwig, Canada

Purchased Fall of 2003

Comments: I had a 1986 RG 500 which I regretfully sold back
in 1990. Since then I have always wanted another.

Now I have the only RG 250 I have ever seen around here and I
love it.

It had only 9,118 km on the meter, since then I put on another
700 km before the snow fell.

It has been painted black but it was done very well and the bike
is in excellent condition.

1980 Suzuki GSX 1100 E

Owner: Alex Wong, Malaysia

Comments: I bought my GSX1100ET
on April 2003 from its first owner. I must thank him for keeping
it like new for over 20 years!

Before I found this bike I went
to many places looking for GSX1100 or GS1000 so I saw many of
them. Most of them 4 to 1 exhaust pipe (not Yosir), K&N filter
(no air box), 525 Chain (smaller sprocket), round head light (due
to accident) etc. I couldn't make up my mind, which one to buy.

One day a friend of mine calls me
and says that his uncle has a GSX1100 for sale, everything original
except the two mirrors. I went to see the bike - WOW!

After five minutes I wrote a cheque
to the owner and rode home from Kuala Lumpur. It had only been
ridden 19,800 km (the odometer can be adjusted but the disk brake
won't lie).

I bought the bike last year . This
bike has its original exhaust pipe, chain, sprockets and stickers!

1985 Suzuki GSX 1100 EF

Owner: Guillaume Alinier,
Hatfield, Hertfordshire UK

Mods: Personalised paint, Termignoni 4 to 1 exhaust system

Comments : I bought my GSX1100EFF
in 1997 but because I changed country (I'm originally from France)
I didn't touch her until September 2000, did 30,000km since
purchase. It has 120,000 km now on the meter. Engine refurbished
at about 109,000 km in 1999.

Great bike, very practical for touring. Can be easily loaded
with lots of gear. Some electrical problems, but nothing else
really. Bought it for almost nothing and did a lot of work.

1989 Suzuki GSX 750 F

Owner: Klaus Halén, Espoo Finland

Comments : Heres a picture
of my treasure. I've ridden it for two seasons and it has 56,000
km on the meter. I believe the bike was imported from Holland.
I bought it in 2002 with 44,000 km and a Laser 4-2-1 exhaust system
on it.

I replaced the ProDor Carbon muffler last summer, the old one
had burned through. No other bigger repairs so far, new tires
and sealings to the front fork and new oil to the engine.

The bike is quick and neutral to ride. It is powerful enough but
it's not very easy to make wheelies with it. It is suitable for
touring, even with two passengers, and even for tighter cornering.
It lacks a bit power in the mid-revs though, compared to the 1100.

The oil/air-cooled engine is quite noisy but the more open exhaust
pipe disguises the engine noise. The bike has a reputation of
being reliable.

I have really nothing negative to say about the GSX750F. In my
opinion it's a nice sport tourer.

1989 Suzuki GSX 1100 F

Owner: Russell Tudor,
Stoke-on-Trent, England

Comments : The bike is a
1989 model and goes like the wind it is by far the best bike
I have ever owned.

This is a recent picture, and shows my 15 year old bike in its
full glory. I think you will agree that for 15 years old she
isn't looking too bad.

It has done a genuine 16.5K miles and the engine just seems
to get better with age. It handles like a dream and once warmed
up the tyres, (Michelin Macadam Radials) make her stick to road
like a Rocket on Rails, giving many so called out and out Sports
Bikes one hell of a run for their money.

1982 Suzuki GN 400 TD

Owner: Jan Keevel,
Mijdrecht Holland
Suzuki
GN400 Twins: takeoff.to/gn400

Comments:
This
is my second GN400TD. I got this Suzi #2 as a present from a
biker that has kept this bike in parts and boxes in his garage
for 14 years.

In summer 2003 he wanted to throw it all away. That's when he
met me on my site and gave the bike (in parts) to me.

We are going to put it all together and try to get in working
again during the summer.
You will find Jan's first GN400TD on Page 23.
