Suzuki GSX14002002 Suzuki GSX 1400 K2
Owner: Grayson Thompson, UK
Comments: ”I live in Seaham, the North East coast of England, I'm 40 years old and have been riding bikes for... well a long time now!
I too bought it without seeing in the flesh (like the webmaster of this site) and wasn't disappointed. A small screen like the one I've fitted keeps off that nasty wind even above normal riding speeds.”

Owner: Snorre Kristoffersen, Alta Norway
Comments: ”My bike was probably the very first GSX1400 registered in Europe (11 June 2001). Correct me if I'm wrong! The windscreen is a Givi Thumbnail A200 universal. Works OK and it's very discrete. My wife rides a Suzuki VX800 1994, my 16 year old daughter -01 MZ125RT and my son (10) and other daughter (13) shares a RM80 Cross.”

Suzuki GSX14002002 Suzuki GSX 1400 K2
Owner: Roland Zaremba, Beverwijk Netherlands
Purchaced: July 2001 as new.
Comments: ”The picture was taken in August before I made any modifications. I have installed a small windscreen (I was almost pulled of the bike at full trottle), an oil temp meter instead of the oil plug, smaller halo flashers and home-made stainless steel side plates with inscriptions on the oilcooler. I've also shortened the rear fender. In the winter I will modify the exhaust interior with bigger inside pipes for more noise.”

Owner: Bob Beattie
Country: Scotland
Comments: ”Here's a picture of my GSX with stainless and titanium system fitted, it also has some other mods: Renthal bars, one off bar end weights, polished stainless oil cooler cover, there will be engine mods when funds allow.”

Suzuki GSX14002002 Suzuki GSX 1400 K2
Owner: Jürgen Hoche, Germany
Purchased: end of June 2001 (the first in Northern Germany). Mods: small windshield, steel brake lines, superbike-lenker 80 cm, ritzel mit 17 zähne (?). Comments: ”Enormous torque, very nice. GSX1200 is not so nice, not so strong, but lighter and much better in handling! I have made a trip to the Dolomiten at 2,700 meters height twice with the GSX1200 - it was super! In May 2002 I will make a trip there for the first time with my GSX1400.”

Owner: Roland Zaremba, Beverwijk Netherlands
Purchaced: July 2001 as new.
Comments: ”Instead of remaking the tailpipe I have purchased a stainless steel Devil exhaust system. You do not believe the transformation of the bikes power. I do not now the exact amount of horsepower but I think it's up 15 bhp/pk.”
Here's a picture of the windshield.
Here's the oil cooler shield.

Suzuki GSX14002002 Suzuki GSX 1400 K2
Owner: Roman Rudziejewski, Warsaw Poland
Comments: ”I bought a new GSX 1400 in Warsaw, Poland in May 2002. I am in love with this machine from the very first look at the dealer shop. That's why I found your page. Let me say a short comment concerning the content - it was exactly what I was looking for as a new user of this lovely amazing monster. The girl sitting on the bike is my four-year-old daughter.”
Here's another picture (rear view).

Suzuki GSX14002002 Suzuki GSX 1400 K2
Owner: Lawrie White, Barnsley, S/Yorkshire UK
Comments: ”I bought my bike new on March 20th, 2002. The first thing I did was to fit engine bars, good job too as it slipped off side stand & broke the clutch lever! My fault! I turned up 190mm mirror arms & had them chromed, I can see behind now! I thought the centre section was "too black",so I cut similar graphics & applied to the plastic covers, it looks different to all the others!”

Here's another picture of Lawrie's GSX1400. I agree with Lawrie, I also think the centre section needs a little more color. I have applied ”Suzuki” stickers in gold to the black cover myself. But I do like Lawrie's solution and I saved the larger version of this picture in higher resolution as I normally do. I wanted you to see better the new graphics Lawrie has cut.
