| The windshield is a
National Cycles Street I got off of
ebay for $49 still in the box. I was very happy about
the price. I had some trying experiences mounting
it which I described in the Tips and tricks forum
of GS Recourses web site, but I finally prevailed. |

1980 Suzuki GSX 1100 E

Owner: Charles Evil Hobbit Gunter
Mainville, Ohio, USA

Comments:
I
just got this 1980 GS1100E in February of 2004, so I've had
it for a month. It has the original paint job on it, which is
looking pretty sad and it has a V&H 4 to 1 exhaust.

This
is a great bike! But it does have a bad case of GO FAST. The
looks I get as I ride it through town are priceless.

Problems, I've go a small oil leak from the timing chain adjuster
and I think it needs carbs rejetted, the dealer that I got it
from last month put a new battery in it and tuned it up nice
so I'm ready for the summer. This winter it gets painted.

There is still a bit
of work to be done to it but i will get there eventually.
The photo does not do the bike justice.

1990 Suzuki GSX 400 F

Owner: Gary Bates,
Bolton, Lancashire, England

Comments:
I
bought the bike at Christmas 2003, it was red when I got it
but this was not the original colour as i soon discovered when
i started to take the fairings off. I decided that I would try
to restore it to its former glory.

I
have spent a lot of money on original parts and paint but the
outcome has been worth it. I think I've done pretty
well despite the limited space and time.

It
rides well and the handling is good though it can be a pain
on cold damp mornings when it can be reluctant to start. It
is a far cry from the grumpy CB400N I was riding before it and
it takes the mickey out of the ZX750 Ninja a friend at work
has.

1979 Suzuki GS 850 G

Owner: Joel
Norton,
Walhalla, southern USA

Comments:
This
bike was given to me by my grandfather. It is in the same shape
as when my grandfather rode it home when he bought it. Naturally
it has aged some and a few years in the barn have dulled the
finish a little.

I
love the bike it's just a little heavy.

It was built in October 1978.

| Believe it or not we actually race these in
Cyprus and bore and stroke has become important as
I won with a 2 oversize piston, you would not believe
the controversy this has caused. If anyone could tell
me the Bore and Stroke of a standard machine I
would greatly appreciate it! |

1995 Suzuki FM 50 Landie

Owner: Craig Apted,
Limasol, Cyprus

Purchased: 2003

Comments:
The
bike is about 1995 at a guess, it never came with paperwork
as I was always going to strip it to race. I have owned it for
about a year now and spent over $500 and 200 hrs on it.

It
is 50cc 2 oversize, with a racing 17 mm carb and 75 jet, expansion
chamber Proma exhaust and the ports are as big as I dare go.

It
just about touches 65 kph and I compete in endurance races
with it. The last one was 21 hours long, we completed 906 km
with a team of four people and beat 12 other teams to win.

It
was testament to the build quality that 12 bikes started and
11 finished this grueling endurance race. Un-fortunately you
only really see these bikes in the near east countries such
as Cyprus, Greece and Turkey.

I
am living in Limasol Cyprus now and enjoy all the fruits it
has to offer, and at 32 years old I get to race mopeds, how
much fun is 1 man allowed.
Here's
a link for video footage.
