1988 Suzuki RG 125 Gamma

Owner: Derek C Page, Scotland UK

Comments: ”I bought this bike second hand as a cheaper alternative to getting to work. Since then I've had some of the best fun in my life! This little machine is fantastic and fairly economical too.

It was already de-rectricted and fitted with a Micron exhaust when I got it and it had been off the road for six years, used in a field! It needed a fork seal, new brake pads & an adjustment to the headlamp to fly through it's MOT, not bad!

I would highly recommend one of these for anyone, whether a learner bike or for anyone wanting cheap and fun transport.”

1979 Suzuki GS 850 G

Owner: Pepijn Janssen,
The Netherlands

Comments: ”I bought this GS850G in June 2003, I fell in love with its color.

I've been working on it ever since. Besides the regular things that needed to be done, I also installed a nice looking buddyseat and a Kawasaki rear plate. It now looks a bit more like an early seventies bike instead of 1979.

I thing the result is quite nice. The bike is damn fast!”

1981 Suzuki GS 550 E

Owner: Boris Radenic, Sisak, Croatia

Comments: ”Old bikes are the best. My bike is 23 years old and I have had no problems. I bought it four years ago and have made 80,000 km with it.

I wish it would had a little more power but that's the only thing I can think of.

I am a fan of Suzuki motocycles, and my greatest wish is the GSX1400.”

1985 Suzuki GSX 1100 EF

Owner: Guido Meier,
Zürich, Switzerland

Comments: Hello this is my Suzuki GSX 1135cc 1985, 77,600 km. It's a really good bike. It's my best friend!”

Guido also claims that it is in original unmodified shape. I have to diasgree. It's easy to see that the fairing is gone and the headlight has been replaced with that... thing. Also the paint job is not original.

'80 TS 250 ER

”My bike is in original but untidy condition. I just bought it in March 2004. I actually can't remember seeing one of these models before, there are millions TS185ER's in Australia but not many 250's,” Neil tells us.

Here's more Suzuki TS250 info.

1980 Suzuki TS 250 ER

Owner: Neil Batterham, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia

Comments: ”This bike is now 25 years old but it is still a fast and fun bike to ride. Fortunately this bike has been serviced which has kept in in good mechanical condition.

I have stripped the bike down to the frame for a repaint, including the forks and swing-arm. It is very easy to work on.

Having Suzuki trail bikes in the 70's (TS90, TC100, TC125, TS250) I expected some engine rattle, however the engine is very quite with absolutely no little end rattle, which is very nice!

Low down power is very good due to the Reed valve used for induction.

The only thing I don't really like is the suspension. Being pre mono shock type the suspension is too soft. But all in all I really like the bike.”

1980 Suzuki GS 850 GL

Owner: Mitch Taylor,
Acworth, GA, USA

Comments: ”I was looking for my first ever motorcycle and happened upon my GS850GL in October of 2003. I'm the third owner of this bike with only 13,000 miles on it when I bought it.

The only work that has been done to it since I got it is maintenance (all fluids changed etc).

I was told the Vetter fairing on it is original. However, the windshield is replaced and I installed a new tachometer cable as the old one broke a couple of weeks ago. The saddle bags were added by the last owner. To my knowledge, the bike is completely original with the exception of the items mentioned above.

I have absolutely enjoyed this motorcycle as it is fast, handles well (though I will be replacing the tires very soon), and seems to be mechanically sound overall. It starts right up even after sitting for a few weeks this winter.

There are rust holes on the bottom of both mufflers. I was able to find an original set in very good condition and will be installing it this weekend. I can't wait to hear what she sounds like with fresh mufflers.

No doubt Suzuki made a great bike when they produced this one.”

1984 Suzuki GSX 750 ES

Owner: Graeme Eastley, Salvation Army Officer from Australia

Comments: ”I have owned my Suzie for the last 11 years. It has 96,000 km on the clock. Just had a top end rebuild and it is running great.

As y ou can see that it is not original as I have had it resprayed in the true Ducati Red, with out the silver flash, and the signage was developed on a computer.”

'78 GT 125

.
1978 Suzuki GT 125

Owner: Tibor Vörös, Hungary

Comments: ”My bike has a GT125-I frame but GT125-II engine and pipes. I bought it in this shape in 1998.

It's not the best or the fastest of the 125 bikes but it's a fun bike and I like the sound of it. It's quite powerful already at 6,000 rpm and very powerful at 8,000 rpm. I can accelerate in the fifth gear from 50 kph.

I have fixed a problem with my ignition, I have no more flames in my right side exhaust pipe.
