1979 Suzuki GS 850 G

Owner: Max Davis, Waconia, Minnesota USA

Purchased: new in April 1979

Comments: I ordered a full
set of Vetter touring equipment when I bought the bike. Note that
it was October of 79 before the last of the pieces arrived
from Vetter. I installed the equipment myself.

It has been ridden continuously, and has had no major engine or
other work. It still has only about 30k miles.

I had a trailer hitch made and installed, I pulled a small trailer
for many years when living in Colorado and using the bike for
touring/camping trips.

1983 Suzuki GS 1100 G

Owner: Ray Adkins, Nashville, Tennessee USA

Comments: I bought this bike
in February 1998 and two months later wrecked into the side of
a car that pulled out in front of me. Lucky for me I was only
doing about 20mph.

I'm still riding it today, it's a great bike. Also the first bike
I had ever rode!

 |
1979 Suzuki GT 125

Owner: Domingos Cruz, Porto, Portugal

Comments: I send you a photo
of my first motocycle, it is an original Suzuki '79 GT125 (I thing
that is a C type).

The motor goes like a Rolex watch. The only problem I have is
difficulty in buying an air filter here in Portugal.

At this moment I am working with the bike, cleaning and painting
some parts a little.

2002 Suzuki GSX 1400

Owner: Louis van Haaren,
Hamont Belgium (I'm Dutch)

Comments: My compliments for
your website. I even found a picture of my first T350.

At this moment I own a GSX 1400 Blue/White like you. We also have
a vivid GSX 1400 club in The Netherlands, but you will probably
know it. You can visit it at http://www.xs4all.nl/~lramp/.

Last weekend we had a meet and greet
with a nice tour.

 |
1977 Suzuki TS 250

Owner: Sean Clark, Snelson, England

Comments: I picked up the
bike September 2003. It is totally original except the fuel tank,
which I think may be off a TS185 or TS100. I have a genuine tank
lined up which I will fit once it has been painted to the original
spec. Very reliable bike and it is used daily.

1978 Suzuki GS 550 E

Owner: Darren Hoolahan, Perth Australia

Comments: I got the bike about six years ago from my father
who had it stored in his shed.

It's a good old bike to ride. Found it hard to find parts for
it at first. I'm still having trouble getting a good set of
rear shockers for it.

As far as I know she is as standard as possible ex that she
has got 4-1 pipes on instead of 2-1.

When I moved to Perth I had a lot of problems with the fuel
over here. Now one of the carbys keeps flooding, I've been told
it's the needle and seat, others say it's the balance of the
carbys.

The clutch cable brakes about every three years, have just put
a new one in and it's running sweet.

It's not in the best shape at present but it is soon to be restored. |

1982 Suzuki GS 850 G

Owner: David Cooper, Melbourne Australia

Comments: Here's an updated picture of my GS850GZ (see
even page 26).
The exhaust has been cleaned and painted, new crankshaft emblems,
flat bars, replaced front indicators with wider Honda units,
fitted bikini fairing and a pair of Fiamm horns to replace the
hopeless stock units.
Here's another picture of the bike.

1999 Suzuki TL 1000 R

Owner: Craig
Davies,
Hull England

Comments: Here's a pic of my latest Suzuki. I posted a
pic of my GT250C about 18 months ago (see
even page 5) and I'm happy to say I've still got it.
The TLR is an awsome bike, I'm not sure why it gets such a bad
name. It is great to ride and looks the past.

I bought the TLR in September 03. I have already fitted many
extra parts including Scorpion cans, rear hugger, mushrooms,
and have had it remapped with a yoshi box. It's a great bike
to ride and I'm not sure why it gets such a bad write up.

I've had one tank slap with it but it wasn't a bad one at all.
Im sure all owners will agree thats there is nothing that goes
and sounds like an unleashed TLR. You got to try it, serious
grin factor.

Here's more Suzuki DR-Z800 info. |
1988 Suzuki DR-Z 800 Paris-Dakar

Owner: Marc
Champie, La Roche Posay, France

Purchase date : 22 February 2002

Comments: The bike has been modified to run in Super Bike
race by Gaston Rahier. Many parts have been cut!

I am a simple biker who dreamed about this DRZ since the first
time I saw it to the start of 1988 Paris Dakar. And I find it
on the web two years ago!

It's the first time I can touch a racing motorcycle. It's like
a Yves Saint Laurent dress! Each part is hand made. The dream!

I have much to do to in rebuilding this DRZ. I want to do a
good job, that's why I need help from Suzuki museum where another
1988 DR-Z can be found, to be able to rebuild water tank and
other parts.

I will send other pictures taken during the job.
