1980 Suzuki GS 1000 G

Owner: Chris Burns, Salt Lake City, Utah USA

Purchased: July 2003

Mods: As far as I know the only modification is the Kerker
pipe.

Comments: So far I like it alot. It is a little heavy,
but sometimes that is a good thing.

The bike was originally owned by a military man. He put on the
24,000 miles between 1980 and 1990. He then was transfered overseas.

He stored the bike in his bedroom at his parents place for eight
years. When he got home in 1998 he sold it to his next door
neighbor. That neighbor then put it into storage in his garage
for three years and then gave it to a friend of his to make
a dune buggy by using the engine. His friend had it for two
years. Needless to say the friend never made it into a dune
buggy, but he did to rebuild the carbs.

The way i fit into all this is my boss is the neighbor that
bought the bike in 1998.

In 2003 I started looking for a bike to buy and my boss said
he had a bike but he was not sure if it was still in one piece.
He said he would check with his friend who had it at his place.

My boss found his Suzuki in better condition that he had left
it three years earlier and took it home. He told me that he
got it back but that he was going to keep it now.

Two weeks later he had it at work after having a new rear tire
put on and having the state testing done on it. He said to me
that he will sell it to me, kind of as a joke.

The next day I gave him a check for it and now it's mine!

1980 Suzuki GT 250 X7
Owner: Stephen Kairl, Albion Park Australia

Comments: I purchased this bike on the 2nd of January
2003 for $800. Since then I have put a bottom end in and it's
running like a dream. It is original paint work but I have polished
all of the aluminum components. It now has 36,000 kms and still
goes like a rocket. I haven't had any problems besides the bottom
end but that was changed at 34,000 kms so it was probably due
for it.

1986 Suzuki GS 1150 EF

Owner: Chris Bestal,
Strathroy, Ontario Canada

Purchased: used in 1997

Comments: My bike is a 1986 GS-1150EF. I have been
very pleased with this bike, I have owned many brands and sizes.
This Suzuki is always ready to go, solid, reliable and very
comfortable for two riders. I have not been stranded by the
bike ever and just do routine maintenance.

It's a great bike and has been no problem to own. The
bike is stock except for the wind screen and a 4 into 2 Kerker
exhaust. The seat is original Dark Blue. The engine has 33,000
km on it and runs like new.

1971 Suzuki T-350

Owner: Patrick Bayeux, Etaples Sur Mer, France

Comments: I had this bike in the 1990's. The previous owner
replaced a couple of details at the front. The tachometer has
been taken from some other model, the original is grey and black.
The handlebar is from the American model. In France, Suzuki sold
the T350 with a small straight handlebar. H4 headlight.
