1964 Suzuki T 10

Owner: Doug Mason, USA

Comments: ”Hi, my name is Doug Mason, I bought this T10 back in 2007 in Mays Landing, NJ.

A friend of mine saw it in a yard sale and thought it was a Honda Dream, he told me about it because I have a white 305 Dream.

According to your info and a few other sources it is a 1964. I'm not sure how it got into the US, the guy I got it from mentioned the original owner got it at a local hardware store.

The bike was pretty rough when I got it, it sat under a blue tarp for ten or so years. It had 6,400 miles on it.

The guy said he rode it for a few years, but it just got slower and slower and just stopped running. He mentioned if he squirted gas in the sparkplug holes it would start, but it wouldn't keep running.

I did a complete restoration on the bike, new paint and cad plating. I installed new crank seals, piston rings and all new seals and gaskets. The crank seals were the worst I have ever seen, no wonder it wouldn't run.

The bike runs really nice, more torque than the 250 Yamaha twins of the 60s.

It's pretty advanced for a 2-stroke twin, it has electric starting and auto ignition advance. The shift pattern is neutral at the top and all down for the four gears, it takes a little while to get used to it. I went from first back to neutral a lot.

You can publish my e-mail adress: scrumbles@msn.com.”
It's a beautiful bike. The black and white pictures from sixties don't do it justice. Thank you, Doug!

”Old Suzuki of some kind”
Owner:Glen Del Rosario

Comments: "Can you help me identify this bike? I can't find a bike with two shock absorbers this might be a modification. Thinking of making it a daily driver, will parts be a problem? What should I look out for? I assume it doesn't run.”
The rear suspension is surely not original. I'm not sure about the model.

1974 Suzuki GT 750

Owner: Dale Jones

Comments: ”First of all I would love to tell you how much I have enjoyed your website over the years and what a reliable resource it has been for my Suzuki restorations.

My latest project is a Suzuki GT750L split head model only available to the Japanese market (please see attached image). It is currently refinished in what I believe to be Flake blue but wanting to have it repainted in the Suzuki colour 728 Olive Green Metallic (also image attached of a bike in this colour.

Can you offer any information on this colour and know how I could find a way of getting a decent match to the original?”
The '75 GT750 with the Olive Green tank and side covers looks great. I like your choise of color. Just google the color code, you can find it. Good luck!

1973 Suzuki TC 125 Prospector

Owner: Wayne W Tucker,
Brewster, New York USA
Comments:”Here's a couple of pictures of my '73 TC125 Prospector, in completely original condition. The photos were shot in Chatham Township, New Jersey, in summer of 1974.

I bought the bike in 1973at Dave Leather Suzuki, Schenectady, New York. I sold it in 1976 to get a car.

The Prospector had a dual range transmission, four-geared low for off-road and four-geared high for the road. It was a noble effort on the part of Suzuki... but it was too slow in low gears, and not enough torque in the high gears...

I still loved it and miss it.”

1982 Suzuki GS 750 E

1981 Suzuki GS 1000 G

Owner: Gert D. Geissler, Germany
Comments:” I have been riding (plus owning) Suzuki GS bikes since over 35 years.
Attached are some of my (too many) Suzuki GS Bike, all of them in mint condition: my '82 GS75 E with less than 25,000 kilometer on the meter. The '81 GS100 G has only 15,000 km on it. They are all origina.

I don't like the looks of most the modern bikes, despite their better performance — except of some Ducatis or Triumphs...”
