Suzuki GN125
Owner: Vincent
de Coune, Brussels Belgium. Modifications: None
Comments: My GN125 was a blue 1993 model, I bought it
in August 1999. The previous owner had rode only 3,000 km (less
than 2,000 miles) with it in six years! I bought it for 50,000
FB (1,239 EUR) I sold 18 months later with 15,500 km on the
meter and it was still as fine as when it first came from the
assembly line. I sold it for 40,000 FB (991 EUR).
I was my first bike, perfect for learning. I enjoyed it a lot!
It had 13 hp with a max. speed of 125 kph.

Suzuki GN125
Owner: Vincent
de Coune, Brussels Belgium. Modifications: None
Comments (continues): After that I got my heavy motorcycle
rider's license and bought a 1998 Kawasaki ER5 with 4,700 km on
the meter (now 22,000 km). I'm dreaming of a Suzuki GSX 750 Inazuma
for the next bike.
Thank you for your excellent page with all the old Suzuki models
(my dream at the Brussels Motorcycle Show 1982 was a blue GSX400F
; my friends owned a blue GSX750E and a gray GSX1100S Katana in
1981). |

Suzuki GS1000SN
Owner: Steve Nimtz, Minnesota USA
Comments: I bought my GS1000S in September 1980 from Mr.
H Honda in South Bend, Indiana with 3 miles on the ticker. During
it's early years the bike was
abused by myself until the engine just gave up. Used to Drag Race
it while I lived in Colorado. When the engine finally gave out
I put her up in the shed and forgot about it for 16 years. In
a bind for something to do last summer, I pulled it out and started
the rebuilding. New engine, lots of wiring and it is back up and
on the road here in Minnesota. Not perfect yet but it is getting
there. I will send another picture when it is completed! |
1980
Suzuki GSX750E
Owner: Jim Mcloughlin, Balnarring Vic Australia
Mods: (apparently at least the exhaust system is not stock, the
original system was chromed, not black)
Comments: I want to thank you for the info on 1980 to 1983
models as you have helped me to identify the GSX750 that I have
restored recently. Here is a pic but unfortunately it is not all
that good.

Suzuki GSX750S Katana
Owner: Al deVries, Calgary, Alberta Canada
Comments: This is a picture of my '82 Canadian 750 Katana
that I bought new in '82, sold in '86 and bought back in 2000.
It came back a different color and had some minor modifications.
I have put $1,700 CDN in repairs back into her but am thinking
of keeping it Viper GTS blue for now. Was great to find my old
ride... Never again to part! |

Suzuki A100
Owner: John
Campbell, West Midlands UK
Comments: Some pictures I hope you might enjoy. My A100
has no indicators fitted and the manual with it says that it was
ordered like this, surprising me as it was registered in 1969.
Is this unusual? It runs very well and always causes a question
or two when I park. A man ran after me in the street today to
try to buy it! All the best, Great site.
John's other bikes: Currently B100P, A100. formerly U50, OK you
guessed it, I like Suzukis, GT380, T500, GS750, GS450, GP100 &
125,X7,X5. |

Suzuki GT250
Owner: Andy
Matcham, Canterbury UK
Comments: I bought my GT250 three years ago as a pile of
junk. Have done lots of work on it mainly trying to source parts
which seems to take up most of my time. I got the fenders from
Australia (netbikes.com.au)and have got a few parts from there
since. I still have a bit of work to do. I have a chainguard,
rear light bracket at the chromers now and will next year get
the wheels rebuilt and then its done, I can have my life back.
Don't get me wrong, I love the bike. Runs great and turns a few
heads when I overtake them at 95 mph and smoke em out, ha ha. |
