have tried to tell the story of the Suzuki RG250 Gamma as I know it.

In Japan, the engine peak power was narrowed down from 45 hp to 40 hp in accordance with domestic self-regulation. Some claim that that the power drop was on paper only, that Suzuki downsized the figures on paper. The domestic 1993 models of RGV250 were launched in December 1992.

Suzuki released the 1994 RGV250 models in May 1994. Revised
power-valves and a new paint job.
A limited 240 unit batch of bikes with Lucky Strike Team colors was made to commemorate Kevin Schwantz' WGP championship in 1993.
A Lucky Strike version was released before the standard model, in March 1994. The customers who bought the model were invited to an owners' meeting at the Ryuyo test course, which Schwantz also attended.
Suzuki RGV250 was only officially imported to the United Kingdom from 1989 to 1994. but the model lived on and was totally renewed in 1996.

No updated versions of the RGV250 were launched in 1995. The new model version, VJ32A, was released in February 1996 but already introduced at the 31th Tokyo Motor Show in October 1995.
