Suzuki T500 magazine adverts
I have tried to find some Suzuki T500 magazine adverts to show on
this page.
I would be grateful of any contributions sales brochures, magazine ads,
magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material
in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send
them to me. Please tell me the source and the publication date if possible.
If you send me pictures of your own bike, please follow these
instructions.

1967 Suzuki 500/Five magazine advert from USA (4 pages).
Click to enlarge. The first ever Suzuki advertisement in Cycle World magazine that was printed in color, published in the October issue. ”Suzuki makes it! World's first 500cc Dual-Stroke.” On the last page of the ad Suzuki proudly told about its 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. Even the tires and chain were protected (but only for six months). Even the new smaller siblings of the T500 (called the 500/Five at the time), Suzuki X-5 Invader (T200), Suzuki Sting Ray Scrambler (TC200), Suzuki Charger (A100) and Suzuki Sierra (AS100) were presented in the magazine advert. |

Click to enlarge. ”Suzuki makes it!” The advertisement was p ublished in Cycle Guide magazine, May 1968. The models offered in 1968 were: Suzuki 500 Five (T500 Cobra), T-305, TM 250, AS 50 Colt, X6 (T20). It says the following of the T500: ”See the Suzuki 500/Five – The bike that couldn't be built? Suzuki makes it! World's first 500cc Dual-Stroke. Only 5-speed gearbox in its class. The SS1/4 in 13.2, 46 hot horses at a cool 7000 rpm. Top speed range 110–120.Built-in tach och speedometer performance panel. Racing-type brakes and tires. Altitude compensating carb. Metallic-jewelled finish polished off with rich chrome fenders.” |

The 50cc M12S, the 70cc A95 (here only called the light
motorcycle), the 250cc T20 and the 500cc T500 shows that
Suzuki have bikes for all classes. Six months warranty.
