Suzuki RM80 brochures

I have tried to find some Suzuki RM 80 brochures to show on this page. I would be grateful of any contributions — sales brochures, magazine ads, magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send them to me. Please tell me the source and the publication date if possible. If you send me pictures of your own bike, please follow these instructions.

1979 Suzuki RM and PE model catalogue from USA (8 pages). Click to enlarge. I believe this brochure was scanned and uploaded to Internet by a fellow named Tony Blazier. It contains pictures and info of 1979 Suzuki RM50, RM80, RM100, RM125, RM250, RM400, PE175 and PE250 models.

1982 Suzuki RM 80 brochure from Japan (2 pages). Click to enlarge. ”1981 World Champion”. I found these images on Internet, on different places. The front page scan is really nice, the back side image was a photograph that I tried to enhance the best I could.

1983 Suzuki RM 80 H brochure from Norway (2 pages). Click to enlarge. ”The New RM80X Equipped with a Tough, High-Performance Powerful Water-Cooled Engine to Sharpen Its Competitive Edge”. By 1983, the RM80 got a liquid-cooled engine and was now called RM80X. The Suzuki RM80X had 17-inch front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel. A ”high wheel” version for taller riders was launched called the RM80H. It had 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel and longer swing. I found the brochure scans on the Internet, on Dave's Bike Brochures website. I just cleaned them up a bit. Printed in Japan, September 1982

By 1983, the RM80H was the only 80cc motocross bike with higher wheels. While the standard version of the Suzuki RM80 had 17-inch front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel, the RM80H had 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel and longer swing. Click to enlarge. ”The Winner”, ”1982 Motorcross World Champion”, ”Suzuki Keeps No.1”, ”World Motocross GP 125cc Class Manufacturer & Rider's Champion V8”, ”World Motocross GP 500cc Class Manufacturer & Rider's Champion”. This lavish 8-page brochure presenting the '83 RM50, RM80, RM125 and RM250 is written entirely in Japanese – except for the phrases quoted above. Printed in Japan

1987 Suzuki RM 80 brochure from Japan (2 pages). Click to enlarge. Unfortunately I don't speak Japanese so I can't tell you what it says. I found these images of the leaflet that I believe it's for the '87 Suzuki RM80H. After some retouching in Photoshop they look pretty good. Enjoy.
