I have put some Suzuki RM 250 sales brochure
scans on this page.
I would be grateful of any contributions sales brochures, magazine ads,
magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material
in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send
them to me. Please tell me the source and the publication date if possible.

This lavish 8-page brochure presenting the '83 RM50, RM80, RM125 and RM250 is written entirely in Japanese – except for the phrases quoted above. Printed in Japan |

He comments the new features for the 1983-year's models: “The '83 RM250 differed from the '82 465 mainly from the increase in engine bore size. Other than minor cosmetic changes, the bikes were very similar. With the '83 RM250, fork diameter was increased to 43mm. Engine changes included a different cylinder head (revised squish band), and increased crankshaft inertia. Unfortunately, these changes were a step backwards as the '82 had a more potent powerband. Minor cosmetic changes were the only visable differences.” |
