Suzuki S50 Boulevard

I try to tell the Suzuki M 50 Boulevard model history on this page as I know it. The Suzuki Boulevard S50 (VL800) is a middleweight cruiser, launched by Suzuki in 2005. It features an 805cc v-twin engine with four valves per cylinder. It replaced the Suzuki VS700 Intruder (1985–1991), 1985 VS750 Intruder (1985) and VS800 Intruder (1992–2004). Like all the other models of the new Boulevard cruiser family, the S50 got its model name of the engine's piston displacement. Instead of using cubic centimeter the Boulevard used cubic inches when naming the model. Apparently the 'S' stands for Stylish, as opposed to the 'C' for Cruiser, and 'M' for Muscle in different Boulevard models. The Boulevard S50's engine was carbureted by a Mikuni BDS36 in the front, and a Mikuni BS36 in the rear, and featured wet sump lubrication. It has a ground clearance of 125 mm (4.9 in), and comes in many colours depending upon the model year & country of sale. The Suzuki Boulevard S50 was manufactured in Japan between 2005 and 2009. No upgraded or changes were made for the model except for new colors were offered alongside the Pearl Nebular Black option, that was offered every year as long as the model was manufactured.
