Suzuki GN160 is a affordable and lightweight classic-styled motorcycle powered by a 162cc gasoline engine delivering a tad over 14 horsepower. It was launched in Southeast Asia and Latin America by Suzuki in September 2026. The GN160 is suitable for daily commuting in the city as well as long-distance trips, yet it hasn't got any luggage rack or windscreen. It's a naked bike, with a classic sporty design.
The GN160 retains the distinctive features of the classic GN series with its round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and long seat. Despite its classic appearance, the bike still incorporates some modern features. It is equipped with LED headlights, alloy wheels, a semi-digital instrument panel, and a USB charging port. Safety features have also been enhanced with a front disc brake with integrated ABS. The rear brake still uses a drum brake.
Powering the Suzuki GN160 is a 162cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, air-cooled gasoline engine with electronic fuel injection. This engine produces a maximum power of 14.1 hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine power is transmitted through a 5-speed gearbox.
Suzuki Philippines states that the GN160 has a fuel consumption of approximately 1.98 liters/100km. Therefore, with an 11-liter fuel tank, theoretically, the bike can travel over 550 km on a single tank of fuel.
The GN160 uses 18-inch wheels with 80/100-18 front tires and 90/90-18 rear tires. The front suspension uses telescopic forks, while the rear uses dual shock absorbers with 5 levels of adjustment.
