1990 Suzuki year code: K
|
The 1989 year's VT250K was introduced in February 1989. Although
the J and K models look the same, many modifcations were made
for the second model year. I have seen a list of 28 modfications,
from different gear ratios to modification of CDI control units,
carburettors and diverse engine parts. The changes were all
minor updates and refinements of the product but many parts,
both in engine and in the body, were updated. The front tire
was changed from 110/70-17 53h to 110/70-17 54h. The
overall weight of the bike was increased by 3 kg (6.6 lbs).
Another model, VT250AK, was offered in 1989 for the Japanese
domestic market, the AK had an indicator lamp built in the meters
notifying when the rider was speeding.
Starting frame number: VJ21A-118699.
Colors: Red, Black, Charcoal Metallic (new color).

from new fuel tank cap to updated electrical system.
1990 was the last model year for the VT250 Wolf.
