Suzuki TR250 presentation (Tekniikan
Maailma 7/1968, Finland). Click to enlarge. This picture was
taken at the '68 R.A.I. Motorcycle Show in Amsterdam. The other
Suzuki mentioned in the article was the T500.
According to the Motor Cycle test Suzuki TR 250 is the fastest
racing machine available in shops. The top speed is 122 mph, that
is only 3 mph slower that Derek Woodman's MZ factory racer. Unfortunately
none of these machines found their way to Finland, the motocross
models probably needs their share when manufacturing these special
models. The handling of the TR250 is excellent and to guarantee
the braking effiency, the front components are from the '65 twin
cylinder 125cc GP racer. The price in England was 495 pounds in
December. |
