Suzuki GV700 and GV1200 Madura
|I have put some Suzuki GV 700 and GV 1200 Madura
magazine article scans on this page.

(Sweden). Short presentation of the new custom models with liquid-cooled
V-4 engines. The Madura was aimed for the Nortern American market
and none of the models were ever imported to Sweden. 1985 was
the only model year for the GV700, the GV1200 was manufactured
for few more years.

Some Madura specs in Cycle magazine
(USA), January 1986:
The V1200 BHP is 89.36 max @ 8500 rpm and the torque is 61.41
max. @ 6000 rpm. In a standing start 1/4 mile, it finishes in
11.36 sec @ 117.18 mph.
