Suzuki GSX1100ES model history

I have tried to tell the Suzuki GSX 1100 ES model history on this page as I know it. 1983 Suzuki year code: D

GSX1100ESD was introduced in February 1983 with the same specifications as the GSX1100ED but with a half fairing, with the new black finished engine. Colors: blue/white.

1984 Suzuki year code: E

Premier for the US market, where the model was called GS1150ES. In 1984 the GSX1100ES/GS1150ES was the fastest production motorcycle available. Power in 1984 (USA model) was 119 bhp at 8.500rpm, with torque of 81 ft/lbs at 6.500rpm. Wet weight was 557 lbs. Colors: red/white.

1985 Suzuki year code: F

Some sources claim that the GSX1100ES/GS1150ES was discontinued in March 1985. Still, the model was available in some countries as late as 1988.
