I have tried to tell the Suzuki GSX 1100 ES model history on this page as I know it. 1983 Suzuki year code: D

The Suzuki GSX1100ES was introduced in February 1983 with the same specifications as the GSX1100E but with a half fairing, with the new black finished engine. Colors: Blue/White.

1984 Suzuki year code: E

The model was introduced to the US market fpr 1984. The model was called GS1150ES in the Northern America (without the 'X'). The GSX1100ES/GS1150ES was the fastest production motorcycle available in 1984. Power in 1984 (USA model) was 119 bhp at 8 500rpm, with torque of 81 ft/lbs at 6 500rpm. Wet weight was 557 lbs. Colors: Red/White.

1985 Suzuki year code: F

Some sources claim that the GSX1100ES/GS1150ES was discontinued in March 1985. In fact, the model was sold in some countries as late as 1988.
