Suzuki GS500E magazine adverts

I have put some Suzuki GS 500 E adverts on this page. 1978 Suzuki year code: C

1978 Suzuki GS500 magazine advert from Sweden. Click to enlarge. ”750 in everything else but the insurance” – meaning that the 750cc version was more expensive to insure. This advert was published in the Swedish Allt om MC magazine in December 1978.

1980 Suzuki year code: T

1980 Suzuki GS500E magazine advert from Germany (single page). Click to enlarge. This scan was sent to me by Michael, the webmaster of Michaels' GS-Classic. The power ”reserve” in the ad means that the model was also available in restricted version with 27 hp instead of 46 hp – for those who didn't have a driver's license for a more powerful motorcycle. Published in Motorrad 15/1980
