The Suzuki GN250 is a cruiser-like street oriented popular learner's bike. GN250 is a 4-valve single cylinder, air-cooled SOHC, 250cc four-stroke motorcycle made by Suzuki Motors since 1982. Its has a smaller cousin GN125 with a smaller displacement (125cc) engine (production ended in 2021). There was also the GN400, which unusually used a 6-volt electric system.
The Suzuki GZ250 is a more cruiser-oriented version of GN250 in terms of dimensions with same drivetrain. Suzuki TU250 is a modern evolution of this bike with EFI and different styling.

Suzuki GN250E (NJ41A) has been manufactured since 1982. In the
late 1970's and early 1980's Suzuki used to put an E
in the end of their model names when the model got an electric starter, cast wheels
and that kind of luxury items. The GN250 without the E
has wire wheels (see the picture on this page).
