I have tried to tell the Suzuki FanFan (FX 50) model history on this page as I know it. Suzuki FanFan is a small fashionable bike released in September 1982. According to Suzuki, it was inspired by European mopeds and was designed to be used in the city. It had an underbone frame, footpegs, high handlebars, 14-inch wheels, drum brakes both front and rear was an underbone frame a 3,5 liter front-mounted fuel tank and a 49cc air-cooled 2-stroke single cylinderengine. The same engine was also used in Swany and others, generating 3.2 ps. The ”root bone” frame and the 720 mm seat height made it easy to climb on. Its low weight and the automatic 2-speed transmission combined with an automatic centrifugal clutch made it easy to ride. The Suzuki FanFan was launched in September 1982 with four available choises of color: red, blue, yellow and pink. The coil spring at rear shock absorber had the same color as the body.

Suzuki FanFan / FX50 was a shortlived model. It was discontinued after only two years of production. No changes were made after the introduction of the model. The 1983 colors : red, blue, yellow and pink
