I have tried to tell the Suzuki AC 90 model history on this page as I know it.
I would be grateful of any contributions sales brochures, magazine ads,
magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material
in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send
them to me. Please tell me the source and the publication date if possible.
If you send me pictures of your own bike, please follow these

The Suzuki Scrambler AC90 was only available during a short period. |
Suzuki AC90 was basically the same bike as the AS90, released at the same time.
The frame was an underbone type, made of pressed steel and the brakes were drum brakes. Both models used the same 86cc two-stroke rotary disc valve engine delivering 8.4 bhp at 7,500 rpm.
The difference was that the AC90 was made for rough roads. It had a high mounted exhaust, thicker 2.75-inch tyre at the rear to improve hill-climbing ability and Suzuki had increased the minimum ground clearance to 205 mm (8.1 inches), which is 50 mm (2 inches) higher than the AS90.
The body color is Candy Red, the front and rear fenders and chain case are decorated with chrome plating. Because of the higher ground clearance, new side stand and central stand was installed.
