 Suzuki models 1960
Here are Suzuki motorcycle models from this specific year. There may be more
models than these, my collection is not quite complete yet. Please help
me by sending me pictures, technical data and brochures of your favorite
Suzuki model you don't find on my site. Don't forget the search engine you find on every page.
Here's more info. |

The 1960 Colleda 250TA Twin Ace, launched in December 1959, had the sporty “jet-line” design. It was the first motorcycle ever to use combination brakes, even now standard in some motorcycle models. A link was attached to the brake pedal, making both the front and the rear brake to activate when pushing the pedal. It used hydraulic brakes both front and rear.
A notable feature of the Colleda Twin Ace 250TA was its integrated Jet Line styling that flows from the headlight to the fuel tank and tool box. This styling is based on the design of Colleda Sel Twin that debuted the previous year, with various modifications ”to form a closer harmony between the expression of solidity and speed”.
A scooter styled lower fairing was optionally attached to the bike to protect the rider from moist and wind and the model had a dual seat and a bagage holder, making it somewhat of a touring bike.
