(see below) and Babyface in Japan handles International transactions.
English website: www.satoracing.com.
Babyface has two type of systems for GSX1400, full exhaust which
is $1,650.00 and slip-on, $1,250.00 U.S. dollars accordingly with
shipping. They use pure titanium for material, and they are all
hand bent.
This information was provided 29th October 2001 by Mikiko Osumi,
Foreign division director at Sato Racing Inc. He continues:
We
believe you can gain about 10 hp from our full exhaust system,
and about 5 hp from slip on (the data is based on Japan model
when we dyno tested and Im sure this varies according to
your motorcycle, weather and settings). You can go to our website
for more information on the dyno chart. The sound of the pipe
is heavy, low and deep. Since Sato Racing is just getting started,
we arent yet set up for credit card transactions, although
we do accept money orders. Well send out the pipe by International
Express Mail as soon as we receive an International Money order
from you.
Picked out from Sato Racings English home page:
As for the "Made in Japan" titanium systems, we
use carefully selected titanium, which is then hand-bent utilizing
special sand grains with a burner to eliminate kinks. Like the
Japanese sword, this represents the finest hand-skilled craftsmanship
in the world, with stunning show-quality looks second to none.
Our lower-priced "Made in USA" stainless systems are
machine-bent and polished stainless with TIG welds, with not the
slightest compromise in quality or performance. The low, deep
sound resonates and offers unmatched power, absolute performance
and superb aesthetic and engineered quality.
