Updates on my site
May 2024

Here follows the list of the new or updated stuff on my site. There's always some gaps to fill, brochures to find, stories to tell. It's a never ending job. I hope you appreciate my efforts.

I'm still here... It's been over 20 years now since I started to fill my site with all kinds of Suzuki motorcycle stuff: specifications, photos, brochures, magazine ads... There wasn't any similar sites on the Internet back then – what I know of. I believe I'm still one of the largest, if not the largest size on the Internet including ALL Suzuki motorcycle models. I hope some people think it's also the best. I am trying...
.
Please notify me if you find any errors, things that look strange, problems on the website or uncorrect information about the motorcycle models. Any problems at all. I do read all the messages although I sometimes react slowly. It is an enormous task I've committed to, telling everything about every Suzuki motorcycle ever made. I will probably never get there, but I'm working on it...
.
Please keep on sending brochure scans to me! Don't make the scans too small. The bigger, the better! Here's the e-mail address:

May 3  For a few days ago I started this massive operation, to convert all pages on this website to look and work better without frames, improving the search functions and even making the pages look better on smaller screens and smart phone displays. I have come a long way, most of the pages work fine now even outside their original frames and the search engines find them easier. As I have to make the necessary changes manually, on page at the time, it's time consuming and not very fun. But it's also way to see every page and find technical errors and very old design solutions. I have made necessary corrections where neede and in some cases I have added more and better pictures, added missing specifications and such. I have not documented every update I've made. The latest one, that I do remember, was the SW-1 model history page that I had made over 20 years ago. I added some info of that interesting model. I also added a photo of the concept version of the motorbike.
.
May 5  Apart from updating the hmtl code on the pages (see text above) I have corrected errors I've noticed on the pages I've been working on, little things here and there. Some pages needed more time and effort. I rewrote the model history and found lots of new photos that I will post on the TU250 Volty model history page, as soon as I find the time and enery. I've already made the changes to the text on that page.
.
May 6  Updated pages: I added more photos on the TU250 Volty model history page.
.
May 7  Updated pages: I believe that I have now updated the necessary code on all of the pages on this site, except for the nearly 150 Visitors' Suzuki pages, I will do them some other day. The biggest advance is that the pages that are found through search engines like Google are shown in the centre of the computer display even when not in frames where they used to belong. When you want to see more pages to choose from, you can proceed to a frame page (the ”more” links on the bottom of each page) and you will see a meny on the left side like always. Please let me know if you find this solution OK or if you find it worse than before!

Sometimes I get mail from people who complain that their favorite model is not on my site. In many cases they haven't even bothered to look properly or used the search engine. But there are still some models missing. I'm doing my best and will fill in the gaps as fast as I can. This is not my profession; I'm doing this in my spare time. I could use some help to be able to get more things done. Please send me pictures, brochures and specs – or complete model histories... Anything at all that can make the site more complete. Here's more info of how you can contact me.

One more thing: PLEASE visit the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) pages before sending me questions about your bikes, manuals etc. I would love to help you all but I haven't got enough time or knowledge to do that — perhaps you can find an answer to your question on the FAQ pages?
